Day 01: New Delhi ( by flight )
Fly from your country to New Delhi. Upon arrival you will be transferred to
Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: New Delhi

Breakfast
at Hotel and then leave for full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi visiting
Jamia Masjid, enjoy rickshaw ride in narrow alleys of old Delhi through Kinari
Bazaar And 400 years old Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Crematory of Mahatma Gandhi,
Birla Temple, Parliament House, Presidential House, India Gate, Government buildings
& Qutab Minar. Welcome dinner will be organized at Village Restaurant Bistro
with Indian Cultural dances. Return Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi - Leh
Assistance upon arrival and transfer to domestic airport to connect flight for
Leh - 3500 Mts. meet upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Day free for rest and
acclimatisation.
Day 04: Leh
Fullday sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Leh
Morning sightseeing tour of Phyang & Saspol. Afternoon visit Shankar Gompa.
Overnight at hotel.
Day
06: Leh - Saspol, (70 Kms. - 03 hrs. Drive)
After breakfast depart for Saspol. Lunch in camp. Afternoon visit Alchi monastery:
originally a red hats monastery, and was founded in the 11th century. This
is the oldest monastery in whole Ladakh. Return to camp. Overnight in camp.
Day 07: Saspol - Kargil, (165 Kms. - 07 hrs. Drive)
Depart for kargil over two passes Fatu La - 4100 Mts. & Namikala -3750 Mts.
Enroute visit Lamayury monastery: this monastery was built in 11th century by
Rinchen Zankpo and belongs to yellow sect. Overnight in camp.
Day 08: Kargil - Rangdom, (117 Kms. - 06 hrs. Drive)
Breakfast at hotel depart for Rangdom. We drive through rough & dusty
road. We stop at Panikhar for passport check and proceed to Rangdom. Overnight
in camp.
Day 09: Rangdom - Padum, (125 Kms. - 07 hrs. Drive)
Depart Rangdom for Padum - 3650 Mts. Over Pansi La - 4400 Mts. Padum is the
head quarter of Zanskar. Overnight in camp.
Day 10: Padum - Raru, (05 hrs. Walk)
The trail follows the Tsarap Chu along the dusty foundation of jeep track
through the villages to Mune. From here easy walk of one hour will take use
to camp. Overnight in camp.
Day
11: Raru - Phebula, (04 hrs. Walk)
Descend down to Lingti Chu and cross over through a wooden bridge and climb
up to a small pass. Descend steeply to Main River valley and follow the right
hand side of the river until we reach our campsite. Overnight in camp.
Day 12: Phebula - Purne
The trail goes through some impressive gorge. Descend down to the right hand
side of the valley, which is the meeting point of the two rivers. Kargiah
Chu. Cross here through a wooden bridge and another 20 minutes to camp. Overnight
in camp.
Day 13: Purne - Phuktal - Purne, (04 hrs. Walk)
Day excursion to Phuktal monastery, one of the most impressive in Zanskar,
this monastery has been carved right out of the mountain wall and set in huge
lime stone cave. Phuktal was founded in the middle of the 15the century and
belongs to yellow sect. Overnight in camp.
Day 14: Purne - Kargiah, (07 hrs. Walk)
Re-cross the wooden bridge over Kargiah Chu & then steep ascends of one
hour till we reach Yal. Descend down then trail continues through Testa &
Kuru villages before recrossing the river by the bridge below Tanze village.
The main trail continues for five Kms to Kargiah. The last village en-route
to Shigo La. Overnight in camp.
Day
15: Purne - Phuktal - Purne, (04 hrs. Walk)
The trial stays on the East Side of the Kargiah Chu, winding across yak pastures
used by the herdsmen till late Autum. Cross-easy streams for times until we
reach rocky path, where one can see Himalayan blue poppies. Cross the river
Shingo & camp on the other side of the river overnight in camp.
Day 16: Base - Shingo La - 5100 Mts. - Ramjak, (08 hrs. Walk)
The climb to pass takes 03 hrs with the trail ascending steeply before traversing
the main ridge below the pass. Nice view of Amid hanging glaciers & peaks.
The descent traverses the glacier immediately below the pass. Crossing lateral
moraine to a goat track near camp.
Day 17: Ramjak - Zankar Saamdu, (04 hrs. Walk)
From here the trail descends to the Barari river and further to the from here
the Conflunce of the river Zankar Samdu cross the river by rope bridge &
further 20 minutes to camp overnight in camp.
Day 18: Zankar Samdu - Palamo, (04 hrs. Walk)
Immediately after leaving camp the trail passes through big rock boulders
then descent to the far side through boulders, fields and grazing land with
the occasional birch tree. Cross the small over wood log to reach camp. Overnight.
Day 19: Palmo - Darcha, (03 hrs. Walk)
Cross the river over a stone bridge. It then 05 Kms. Down valley to Darcha.
Overnight in camp.
Day
20: Darcha - Manali - 148 Kms, (08 hrs. Drive)
Depart for Manali passing through Keylong which is the head quarter of the
Lahoul valley. We pass over Rothang la- 3850 Mts. 7 then descent down to Manali.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 21: Manali - Chandigarh (310 Kms 09 Hrs. Drive)
After breakfast leave Manali for Chandigarh. Arrive & check in at Hotel,
afterwards visit Nek Chand Garden & local Assembly of Punjab & Haryana.
Return to Hotel for overnight stay
Day 22: Chandigarh - Delhi
Breakfast at Hotel and transfer to Railway Station to board train Shatabadi
express for New Delhi. Arrive & full day explore in busy markets. In the
late evening transfer to International airport to board flight back to your
country.
